Sneak Peek - Sleeves!
The dress is *almost* done. I have to whip the tippets into place on the sleeve bands and THEN the dress will be done. I decided to make the tippets totally separate so that if I need to, I can easily remove them if I just want to wear a short sleeve overgown without tippets hanging all over the place. I had to try it all on so I could position the tippets in the right place. I think I will go with them in this position:

I am getting the font size of a size 8,very little for bad eyes to read. Is this something that you have changed or is it something from my PC. Of course, you use whatever you wish on your site. I was just wondering. Your dress is beautiful!

Deborah, I am not sure what font size it is, but I haven't changed anything as far as settings go - thanks for letting me know! I will check into it and see if it is a problem on my end. I hate reading tiny font, too!
@deborah what browser are you using? There should be a a way to change what text size you see.

Ohh, I love it! Your posts about this are making me really want to get on with making a costume for The Hobbit later this year. The pink is amazing (though pink usually is not my favourite colour)... very soft, and it goes with the green so well. Like spring is creeping back.
It looks lovely, I especially like the linen-y look of it, even more than the wool textured one. The color is very very beautiful on you.
I had a technical question
How do you get the lacing not to "pull up" on the lowest point? I found when I tried to lace my kirtle, the tension in the lacing higher up on the bodice distributed throughout the cord, and pulled the lowest point up so that it hung funny. How do you get it to hand smoothly like that?
and I would love to see the sword picture! :)
